The message of this exhibition is clear in the writings on this map at the entrance to it. Perhaps surprisingly, it is in the small gallery of the Lettering Arts Trust at Snape Maltings, Suffolk. This short note is rushed on to the world’s stage because the exhibition ends on November 7th, and as many people as possible should see it.
The exhibition is a bold attempt to merge one of the great contemporary issues – ‘the impending loss of the UK’s fragile wildlife, flora and fauna and habitats’, – with the art and craft which it is the Trust’s business to promote. The image below illustrates the message and the medium:
