I revisited The Cut today to hand in three paintings intended for the public exhibition from early December into mid-January. This ‘open’ exhibition appeals to me, despite my policy of minimising my participation in exhibitions, because it attracts entries from far afield and from numerous accomplished artists, so the standard is usually pretty high; and because there is plenty of good viewing space, with big walls downstairs and among the roof supports upstairs.
I have not so far put any of my three entries on to my own Gallery but may be I’ll take a risk and show one of them without waiting to see if is has met with Halesworth’s approval.
I have duly entered my ‘Sizewell’ into my Gallery without waiting to see whether it has ‘made the Cut’, so to speak.
