Illness meant I missed my own launch and indeed left my brand new page inactive for ten days. Nor have I notified its existence to any more than those lucky enough to receive an e-mail from me a fortnight ago. So now I’ll start again, but this time with all 12 images in place, and all the right way up, as I do so.
Since I am no longer surprised by this Wondrous Machine, I merely note that overnight it has obeyed my command and changed its font to Arial. And, in anticipation of this appearing ABOVE the last entry, I accept that aforementioned WM over-rides my preferred manner of writing and writes itself upwards.
Oops! – are blogs supposed to write upwards? – I normally write downwards from top left to bottom right. Am I on a learning curve?

Friday 10 April 2015: sent out first batch of e-mails informing people that the web page exists and is planned to launch on Monday 13 April. Must get this font changed to Arial.
This is my monogram, used since the 1950s on archaeological drawings, which should appear on all my paintings, usually in the bottom right-hand corner
