One L-shaped room in the house doubles as a pretend-art gallery and we recently pretended to be curators doing a rehang as we changed from our summer to the autumn exhibition. As we moved the pictures on and off the walls the new exhibition came to be, without forethought, of abstract works, and particularly darkish ones of strong colour. I guess my recent visit to the RA exhibition of ‘Abstract Impressionism’ may have subconsciously influential in this respect.

And here is a view of the left-hand corner with a one-picture overlap (and some of my ‘new’ mini-sculptures)
In this private view of a private exhibition, the following are thumbnail images of some of the paintings ‘on show’, specifically those which have not already appeared in The Gallery or in this Commentary section of my webpage. Non-Fowlers are identified by artist’s name.
